Parting Ways With a Part-Time Agent
I discovered the hard way that using a part-time real estate agent is not a good idea. I hired a part-time agent to list my house for sale, and that is about all she did…list. She held very few open houses, did not teach me about staging the house, and more or less waited for potential sellers to show up instead of looking for them.
When you need to sell your Hawaii home, especially if you are in the military, the best course of action is to work with a full time agent. A full time agent will help you every step of the way from finding out what your Oahu home is worth to finding new Hawaii real estate on another island. If you are military in Hawaii, you can get the special kind of assistance you need to sell your home quickly, because when the army says “move” there is no time for discussion.
