Hoakalei Golf Course Country Club Ewa Beach

The Ernie Els designed course is officially opened (front 9) and it is AWESOME!  The soft opening took place on Dec 1st, 2008.  The back 9 is scheduled to be open on Dec 15, 2008. 

My friends and fellow Founding Members, Lester, Ted and I were lucky enough to have the second tee time at 7:40 am but were actually the first ones to play because the 7:30 tee time had to be cancelled.  The fairways are in great condition but the greens have a little way to go.  We are all willing to wait because we know that in just a few more months, the course will be in excellent playing condition.

Hoakalei Country Club is easily going to be one of the premier courses in the state of Hawaii and possibly in the world.  Playing 7,400 yards from the tips, it is a test for golfers of any playing ability.  Stay tuned for more information on the course, pictures and updates about the course and the conditions.
