Don’t Buy a Hawaiian Heiau!
You found the perfect house online and have spent a lot of time emailing and phoning the real estate agent to get more information. After all, Kapolei real estate is a long way from the mainland anyway you look at it. But it looks like you found the ideal house for your needs and according to the agent, it is in excellent condition.
So the day comes where you travel thousands of miles to see this beauty of a house. What do you find? Well…it might as well have been described as an ancient heiau or temple. The house certainly is run down enough to be one of the original houses built by the people who originally settled the islands in the thirteenth century.
In all seriousness, when you are ready to buy Kapolei real estate, it is crucial you know the real estate agent you are trusting will tell you only the truth about property in which you have expressed an interest. You need a relationship based on trust when relying on an agent, especially when thousands of miles still separate you.
Heiaus may be great to visit, but you wouldn’t want to live in one!
